You may want to use an adhesive to secure the trim in place.
On the Headlight adjustment panel drill the hole .625 (5/8”) on the “blank switch” plug.
DO NOT make the hole too large. CAUTION DO NOT GET THE HOLE OVERSIZE-THIS IS NOT A PART THAT IS AVAILABLE FROM HONDA!!
Route the red fused lead along the frame to the battery (DO NOT INSTALL THE FUSE AT THIS TIME).
You can route the red fused lead between the fuel tank and the frame, under the shelter (it is possible to slide it along the frame to the left pocket area, it will take a little patience-DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE A FISH WIRE- IT IS POSSIBLE TO DAMAGE THE WIRING HARNESS!!
Place the relays and wiring harness into the pocket area and connect the fused lead to the open terminal on the relay. Do not connect anything to the unused terminal on the relay that has 5 terminals!!
Inside the opening of the headlight adjustment panel, on the right side, there is a large wiring harness inside a black boot. There is a small black 4-pin connector that is unused.
Connect the white 4-pin connector, from the Fog Light wiring harness, to this connector. Do not change any of the wire positions on these connections!!
Install the switch in the headlight adjustment panel and attach the wires as per the wiring diagram that is attached. Do not change any of these connections!!
Route the two Black wires out past the air intake and down along the brake lines to the front of the engine area.
Route the shorter wire is for the left side.
Route the longer wire under the timing cover to the right side of the engine.
Secure the wires with wire-ties to existing wires and cables to prevent the wires from becoming pinched by the faring and/or lower cowl.
Connect the 2 short Green Ground leads to the Black wires on the lights; these ground wires will be connected to the mounting bolts.
Remove the bolts holding black deflector to the front of the cylinder heads, THESE deflector will remain installed with the lights, install the lights, they are marked right and left (this is as you would be sitting on the motorcycle).
The 2 nylon spacers and long bolts are used on the left side light, the shorter bolts on the right side. The bolts should be assembled with the lock washer, then the ground (on one of the mounting bolts) the light mount, then the black deflector.
Just snug the mounting bolts, all the mounting bolt holes are slotted; this is to allow adjustment of the lights to center them in the openings OF THE FAIRING LOWER.
